About Dr. Rupal Shah

Dr. Rupal Shah (MD, FHPC – Homoeopathy) has worked with stalwarts of homoeopathy like Dr. Sankaran, Dr. Vijaykar, Dr. Jayesh Shah, Dr. Sujit Chatterjee in Mumbai, Super specialists like Neurologist, Gynaecologist, Gastroenterologist, R.K. Hospital (Santacruz-W) for the best training in modern medicine and homoeopathy.

She has been successfully running classical homoeopathy clinics since 1995. Independent homoeopathy practitioner enjoying popularity and success for treatment, health care guidance and counselling amongst hundreds of patients and families.

She has authored two books on homoeopathic medicinal plants-

(a) Re-Exploring Our Magnificent Plants.
(b) Our magnificent Plants.

Foreword by Dr. Rajan Sankaran on her first book “Re-Exploring Our Magnificent Plants” in 1999:

Dr. Rupal Shah, my former student and now colleague, has attempted this difficult task. She has gone about her work systematically and presented her way and not only her conclusions.

The first book, “Re-Exploring Our Magnificent Plants” by Dr. Rupal Shah and her colleagues came at the right time in 1999 when many homoeopaths were trying to find an order in the plant kingdom in a similar way as in minerals and animals.”

It was the first time a systematic materia medica of “Plant remedies as per their families” was published.

The first book was also reviewed in the International Homeopathic Links journal by Jan Scholten!

After the success of the first book, she authored her second book, “Our magnificent Plants” with 14 more plant families and all the remedies included under them. The most important part of the book is the chapter ‘Road to Reach the Right Plant Family’. This chapter is written after the in-depth understanding of various families. This also answers the question ‘How do we reach a particular family when we know that we need to prescribe a plant remedy?‘.

The books were received well in India as well as abroad by practitioners, graduate and postgraduate students and researchers. The books were first of its kind & the many books on plant remedies followed!
